Throughout her career, Jess has built a reputation as someone who gets things off the ground—and keeps them growing. From startup launches and department overhauls to major event planning and team expansion, she has spent a decade helping organizations move from ideas to functioning entities.

Before founding Root & Trellis, she worked behind the scenes at fast-paced companies across the entertainment and nonprofit sectors, where she created the workflows, systems, and strategies that made growth possible. She has managed multi-million-dollar portfolios, scaled internal teams, and designed the operational infrastructure that supports sustainable success.

Currently, she serves as the Director of Operations for a growing psychology practice. When she came on board, it was a one-practitioner business. Today, it's a team of four clinicians, supported by defined workflows, cohesive branding, a clear mission, and a thoughtful expansion plan. She helped lay the foundation, and now the practice is growing strong.
